PTFE Lined Acid Resistant Chemical Storage Tank is a pressure-free static storage vessel composed of carbon steel outer shell and acid-resistant seamless PTFE inner liner. The core design goal is to solve long-term storage corrosion problems of various inorganic acidic media. All tank inner walls, manholes, liquid inlet and outlet nozzles are fully covered by integral PTFE lining without exposed metal areas, eliminating tiny gaps where acid liquid may accumulate and erode the steel body. 1. Wrong Operation: Store acid and alkali alternately without full cleaning
Correct Method: After emptying acid liquid, use neutral water repeated washing, fully dry inner wall before storing alkaline medium; separate dedicated tanks for acid and alkali storage is recommended.
2. Wrong Operation: Use iron brush to scrub tank inner residue
Correct Method: Adopt soft plastic brush and neutral cleaning fluid to rinse, hard metal brush will scratch PTFE acid-resistant lining.
3. Wrong Operation: Pump negative pressure to draw out residual acid liquid
Correct Method: Adopt gravity natural discharging or low-pressure air supplementary discharging, never form vacuum inside the tank.
4. Wrong Operation: Fill acid liquid to full tank top without reserved space
Correct Method Keep liquid level below 85% volume to prevent acid overflow and lining extrusion deformation under thermal expansion.
5. Wrong Operation: Weld or drill holes on tank shell after delivery
Correct Method Any tank reconstruction must be confirmed by our technical team, self-welding will crack lining and cause acid leakage.
